Dear Parents of Fourth Grade Students,
Your child will have three separate teachers. Mrs. Witt will teach Language Arts and Social Studies. Ms. Merkley will teach Math. Mrs. Breedlove teaches Science. We have folders, binders, science notebooks and composition books for students already. All fourth-grade students will be switching classrooms throughout the day so it is very important supplies are limited to the items listed below.
- Backpack (students will need a backpack to carry things from class to class) - Their backpacks become their traveling desks, but a majority of the items will stay in their classrooms. These items will be needed in each class.
- 1 zipper pencil pouches with 3-rings for binder (no hard box pencil cases)
- 2 packs of 12 colored pencils (stays in a pencil pouch)
- 1 par of headphones with box or hard case to keep them from breaking in backpacks
- 3 packages #2 pencils with erasers (homeroom)
- 2 packages of Clorox wipes (homeroom)
- 2 boxes of tissues (homeroom)
- 8 glue sticks (homeroom)
- 4 pack black or blue fine-point dry erase markers (homeroom)

They do NOT need markers, scissors, rulers, or handheld pencil sharpeners. Teachers have those supplies on hand when needed. We are looking forward to seeing you next fall!

5th Grade Supplies
(download the printable 5th grade supply list here)
Dear Fifth Grade Student,
Welcome to the Fifth Grade! Please limit your supplies to the ones that we have determined are necessary for your success in fifth grade. Otherwise, backpacks may be overfull, very heavy and difficult to keep orderly. Backpacks in 5th grade need to be sturdy. Students will be using them to transport all their daily supplies (their binder, homework, library books and the occasional textbook) to each of their classes throughout the day. (Backpacks with wheels are acceptable.)
Bring all the following supplies to school. We will sort them out and help students with the initial organization of the binder and backpack.
- 2 boxes of pencils
- Pouch for supplies
- 2 sturdy folders with pockets
- 3 70-page spiral notebooks
- 1 pack 150-sheets wide rule, loose leaf, 3-ring notebook paper
- 1 pack colored pencils (8 color pack)
- 2 packages pencil top erasers
- 2 large boxes of Kleenex
- 4 glue sticks
- Optional: donations of additional pencils, paper, glue sticks, erasers, and tissue are appreciated
Students need to wear athletic tennis shoes for PE. Open-toe shoes are not appropriate for recess.
We are looking forward to seeing you next fall!
